 Dedicated to the Found Art philosophy of photography, Troy Plair focuses on everyday objects and activities as they naturally appear or occur. His photographs show precisely what he finds through his viewfinder. Plair sees things others easily miss: a mirthful human smirk hidden in a rock's natural form, a joyous figure left by water seeping into a manhole, a dancer at the intersection of cracks in the sidewalk. Plair is a dedicated—and prolific—master of his craft. He shoots, prints, tones, mattes, and frames every image he sells. Using only the highest-quality materials, he is exacting in his attention to every detail. Each photograph is truly a work of art. Plair lives and works in Washington, D.C. After receiving his degree from the Southeast Center for Photographic Studies, Plair began his career as a successful freelance photographer shooting for corporations, public relations firms, and national associations in the D.C. metropolitan area.
